We are looking for a FT driver, (CDL preferred). Monday - Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (some weekends & holidays migh be required)

BASIC FUNCTION

The primary purpose of the CDL Driver is to provide friendly, safe, and efficient transportation services to residents and employees of Beaumont. Also responsible for setting up rooms for daily activities in the common rooms.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation to the residents and employees of Beaumont. Consistently driving electric vehicles and other Beaumont vehicles as needed. Assist in determining and evaluating the monthly transportation schedule for train station transport and resident shopping trips. Maintain accurate records of all trips in the transportation logbooks. Responsible for checking all vehicle fluids and performing preventive maintenance tasks. Account for residents and guests transported on trips by carrying a trip list and counting passengers on the vehicle. Record and report all incidents of an unusual nature to the Director of Resident Services or the Manager on Duty. Must have a pleasant and professional manner and work efficiently under stressful situations. Maintains vehicle maintenance schedules and brings vehicles to service stations. Responsible use of gas cards.


EDUCATION, SKILLS And ABILITIES

  • General knowledge of vehicle maintenance and emergency procedures.
  • PA driver’s License with a clear driving record. (CDL preferred).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
