We are looking for two Full Time (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) CNAs with minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a Skilled Nursing setting (every other weekend and Holidays are required).

- Performs basic nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge and competence in assisting residents in ADLs.
- Demonstrate ability to manage emergency situations and respond accordingly.
- Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively with residents, family and co-workers.
- Knowledge of current state and federal regulations and ability to carry out requirements.
- Assists residents in obtaining and maintaining their highest level of independence regarding physical mobility, activities of daily living and emotional well-being.
- Meet with the HC staff in care planning, services, programs and activities.
- Create an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis as well as a calm home-like environment
- Follows dietary recommendations and care plans.
- Follows infection control and safety standards.
- Assist in recreational activities (i.e. parties, musical events, games, crafts, and transportation).
- Reports status changes immediately to supervisors as appropriate.
- Follows current practice regarding independent choices and residents’ rights.
- Completes all necessary paperwork at the end of shift regarding care and treatment to each resident.
- Commitment to resident dignity.
- Attend and participate in annual mandated in-services and educational programs that promote professional growth and development.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members visitors, regulatory agencies and the general public.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be a certified C.N.A. enrolled in good standing in the State of PA
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
