We are looking for an HR Generalist with 1 to 3 years of Human Resources Management experience.

BASIC FUNCTION:    
The Human Resources Generalist will perform the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including administering benefits and leave, developing and enforcing company policies, executing employee events and activities, developing, and conducting new employee orientation, performance evaluations and training staff. This position also serves as back-up to the Assistant Human Resources Director in his/her absence and during peak periods.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory training, continuing education, which may include safety training, anti-harassment training, customer service, hospitality and management training.  Develops and conducts new hire orientation.  Administers employee recognition programs and events.  Administers human resources programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave, workers compensation, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety; and training and development.  Assists Director with disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations including but not limited to disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.  Serves as back-up to Assistant Director Human Resources.  Prepares documents and tracks and monitors Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and ADA Accommodations.  Prepares bills in Anybill for payment. 

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and related field highly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills required.  Excellent organizational skills and attention to details as well as time management.  Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
